David's Prayer
Brookings - Harbor, Oregon, was coming of age.

In 1971, Brookings got its first traffic light (the first traffic light in Curry County), and it was put on the corner of Oak and Chetco.   Harbor boasted the opening of the largest shopping center between Eureka and Coos Bay in 1977.

Brookings - Harbor was becoming a favorite place for vacationers...  for retirees...  We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.

We are blessed to be a part of the First Baptist Community Church.   May we not lose sight of our church mission statement: "To know Him and to make Him known".

Our mission is very well-stated in 1st John 1:3...  "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ."
