Dr. Kenneth Whitted, graduate of Slidell Baptist Seminary, is the primary
pastor of the Brookings First Baptist Church. In our 2005 Pictorial Directory (for our
church), Pastor Ken issues the challenge!
The Lord is faithful to His people! He continues to build His church as He has promised. We have much to be thankful for as we look forward to the years ahead that we have as a local church family to serve Him. As we work together, we continue to grow into His likeness, and in love towards one another. As we are faithful to give of our time, talents, and resources, God will continue to use His people to accomplish His purposes. Pastor Ken & his best friend,

the years ahead. We must continue to be a lighthouse of God's truth to our community.
We must allow Christ to be seen in us as proof that we are His people. We should love each
other so that all can see that we are His disciples. We commit ourselves to being faithful
stewards of the truth and ambassadors of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Most of all, we should
desire that He might reign supreme and be Lord of our local assembly.
